A NY-based artist + illustrator

Mai Ta is an artist and illustrator, working primarily in gouache. Her subject matters often centers around her experience as a Vietnamese woman and deals with social-economic changes that are happening within her country. Inspired by her Vietnamese heritage, her works often embodies the culture’s boldness in colors and intricate décor.
